Last night I had a beautiful woman who is a researcher at a local university in my bed as a result of a connection on Mixxxer - some messages back and forth, a few emails, a drink at a local bar, then off to bed. So, it does work. That said, the experience of the website is absolutely horrid. There is no app because both Google and Apple have banned the app from their app stores, so you have to use the mobile website. That is without question the worst website experience I have every had, by at least 10x.
My date last night has had the same experience. It often takes 5-10 tries to get fully logged on, because the website repeatedly freezes at every step of the way. Once you are logged in, chances are it will freeze after some number of page view and you will need to go through the whole login process again.
Like all these hookup sites, many of the profiles are fake, and the system fails to serve up the rest properly. It is common to have the system indicate that a specific person is within, say, 10 miles, only to look at their profile and see that they are across the country. All in all, you can can find a fuck buddy on there, but you have to be willing to endure a tremendous amount of frustration with the website to get there. Fuck that website (it's not an app). I tried it (with a wi-fi connection).
It took 7 reload-the-page to get passed the sign-in page. Several times I had to wait minutes for the page to load so I could then click on sign in to wait more for the text boxes to display. It crashed 3 times while trying to filter options. Twice the 'find-fun' page loaded blank.
I received 'load error' messages 5 times. Once the filter 'worked' none of the people were in my state, even though I typed in my zip code.
It never detected my GPS location even though it was enabled. Then it stopped working in Google Chrome. The siginin page never loaded in Opera mobile.
Until it has an app and it is at least as easy as Tinder to use, I will not use it.
